Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent fasting

This is a meal I had in an entire day. This week is my peak week for S&C, so I focused on more conditioning. Technique sessions tend to be aerobic because I mostly work on muscle memory and repetitions. One meal a day? Sounds crazy, but if you control your glycogen level in your muscle and keep "fat burning mood", your appetite gets more stable and you will satisfied with a big meal at night.

Many people think lots of carbs at night sounds crazy, but it helps adrenal fatigue and high quality sleep. Also, intermittent fasting changes genes, cells and hormones.

Through a day, Blood levels of insulin drop significantly, which facilitates fat burning. The blood levels of growth hormone may increase and higher levels of this hormone facilitate fat burning and muscle gain, and have numerous other benefits. The body induces important cellular repair processes, such as removing waste material from cells. There are beneficial changes in several genes and molecules related to longevity and protection against disease.

I trained in afternoon on this day and had fatty coffee for breakfast almost at noon. Drinking Alkalizer water is as always through out a day. Hemp protein for post workout. Then I had a big meal as you can see the picture above.
